QBC Level 2 Rides

Longer, faster QBC group rides on alternating Mondays through the spring and early summer, rotating between four loops around Ottawa and Gatineau Park. We aim for 25 km/h on the roads and an overall ride average above 20 km/h. Routes are marginally more challenging than the regular social rides and, aside from a quick regroup after any particularly challenging segments, won't have breaks. If you're consistently averaging more than 20 km/h on Strava, these are a good fit; and if you can't hold the pace, catch up when you get a second wind or self-drop and join us at the finish (or another time).

A social hangout follows each ride for those who'd like to stay.

Bring: lights, water, snacks/electrolytes if you need them. Dress for the weather. Wear a helmet.
