Step Thru Train Ride

For this group ride, Step Thru took the train to Leitrim Station and rode 72 km back into the city, exploring a mix of greenbelt trails, singletrack, and some connecting road sections. The route was about 65% unpaved with a bit of everything.

This was a more challenging ride, both in distance and terrain — but a continuation of their relaxed pace (16-19km/h average). It was also their first drop ride event. At around km 50, the group stopped at Dominion City Brewing for a drink before heading back into town along the Ottawa River Path.
