Recyclore

Volunteer-run charity keeping bikes out of the landfill

Recyclore is an all-volunteer registered not-for-profit dedicated to keeping bicycles out of the landfill and putting them back on the street. They accept donations of old bicycles in any condition, recondition them, and offer the used bikes for sale at affordable prices.

How to buy a bike

First, figure out what kind of riding you'll be doing — road, off-road, street commuting, or trail riding — since that determines whether you want a road bike, hybrid, cruiser, mountain bike, or something else. Check a sizing guide for adults or kids to know what frame size fits you.

Then browse their live inventory spreadsheet to see what's available. Some bikes may be in storage, so book a visit through their contact form so they can have the bike ready for you. Bring a helmet and bike-appropriate footwear — they sell bikes and parts, but not helmets, locks, or child seats.

Payment is cash or e-transfer to deposit@recyclore.org. All sales are curbside and final.

Want to donate or get parts?

Donate a bike: Fill out their contact form. Any condition is fine — what can't be ridden again gets stripped for parts and recycled as scrap.

Need parts? Used parts are available on request only. Contact them with what you need and they'll check if they have it. They don't sell new parts, and not all parts are available due to short supply.

When to show up

They're open Wednesdays from 5–8 PM only, operating inside Britannia United Church at 985 Pinecrest Road. Use the doorbell at the main church door. Booking an appointment through their contact form is recommended so they can have things ready for your visit.
