Kunstadt Sports

A family business that started in 1988 in the Kunstadt family basement, stringing tennis racquets and tuning skis. The first storefront opened in August 1993 in a small corner of a strip mall on Hazeldean Road in Kanata, selling "used but not abused" sports equipment. Today, four locations — Kanata, the Glebe, Bank & Heron, and Old Chelsea (QC) — cover alpine and nordic skiing, cycling, and tennis, with full bike service at each store. Still family-run, with house-brand Kunstadt skis and hybrid bikes alongside the major brands.
